MVS Issue Regression Tracking and Alerting

Prism Platform notifies you of any previously remediated issues that are reported to be present again. This is particularly useful for helping you detect any processes or configuration issues that may be leading to issues reoccurring within your networks and applications.

Regression Tracking and Alerting currently supports Tenable Nessus scans only – more compatibility will follow in the next Prism release.

Prism monitors your Managed Vulnerability Scanning (MVS) projects for any occurrences where a previously remediated issue is detected in a newer scan.

Prism will alert you that this has occurred by tagging the issue as ‘Regression’.

An email will be sent to you, along with a notification in the platform via the Notification Centre (the bell icon in the bottom left-hand corner).

This feature will enable Prism clients to detect any process or configuration issues that may be occurring that is re-introducing vulnerabilities to their networks and applications.
